Windowsill of Joy – 15 April

The country has become huge fans of all essential workers, including those who may not have been thought of as essential before. A huge thank-you to all the transport services, buses taxis trains all the couriers and NZ Post. The people delivering food to our homes and supermarkets and to all airline staff must be under enormous pressure at the moment. I’d like to thank them for all their care on any journey I’ve ever had, especially Air India Chennai staff who managed to get me home in difficult circumstances. Air NZ has always been a pleasure to fly and Air Chatham’s have proved a real benefit to Kapiti.

Thanks also to the ferries bringing goods between the islands. And the ships bringing in the essential supplies from overseas.
