Windowsill of Joy – 6 April

A window shout out to all the supermarket workers, delivery people, office staff, deliverers, pickers, packers and growers. Bags of thanks to all of those involved in keeping the food supply going.

The foliage is a little bit of fig and a lot of galangal. The flower is galangal which was a pleasant surprise when I was looking around the garden for a flower, preferably something to do with produce. It has a beautiful scent too, not bad for a put it in and forget plant.
