Windowsill of Joy – 4 April

Scotland today, unusual South African McGregor wine, some Rennie Mackintosh, one of my dads paintings of a Loch and a monster.

Shortbread, fir tree and the closest I could find to heather and thistles at this time of the year here.

The beautiful tea cup is handmade in Kapiti by Harriet Bright, the translation being, “good morning my friend”. Marie the name of my Scottish aunt and godmother who gave me my middle name. Thinking of friends and family in Scotland, our evening here their morning.
